MANILA, Philippines --- Over 5.1 million doses of US-made Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the Philippines on Monday. First, a total of 3,999,060 doses arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 12 p.m., according to a livestream of state-run PTV. These were donated by the US government through the World Health Organization-led initiative COVAX facility. Then another batch of doses, totaling 1,167,600, arrived at the NAIA Terminal 3 at around 9:45 p.m. This shipment was procured by the government, according to the National Task Force against COVID-19.
