MANILA, Philippines --- The National Telecommunications Commission on Wednesday ordered all public telcos to provide free call and charging stations in areas affected by the 7.0 earthquake in Abra. This was stated in a memorandum signed by NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba. "As earlier discussed, you are hereby directed to deploy Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging Stations in strategic areas affected by the earthquake in Abra this morning," the memo read.
