DOT regional office to give guidance on pricing on Virgin Island

MANILA, Philippines --- The Department of Tourism (DOT) said on Tuesday that its regional office will provide guidance for the pricing of tourist goods and services on Virgin Island in Panglao, Bohol. The DOT issued the statement in reaction to a Facebook post saying that 13 people were charged P26,100 seafood they ordered. According to Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, the DOT has been in touch with Gov. Aris Aumentado and Mayor Edgardo "Boy" Arcay, who said they had launched an investigation of the matter.
