MANILA, Philippines --- Even officials of the Department of Education (DepEd) recognized a crisis in the country's education sector. According to DepEd Undersecretary Epimaco Densing III, no less than Vice President Sara Duterte, who concurrently heads the agency, made it clear to them that there is a "crisis situation" in Philippine education.
