CEBU CITY --- A lawyer based here and her son were shot and wounded by still unidentified assailants along Hernan Cortes Street in Mandaue City at around 10 p.m. on Thursday, September 1. Lawyer Karen Quianola-Gonzales, a senior corporate attorney at the Cebu Port Authority, was driving her car when the perpetrators fired at her vehicle, according to Police Captain Armil Caloscos in an interview over radio dyHP.
