Rhinwil Yambing of the Golden Stags suffered a right ankle sprain during their 100-96 loss to College of St. Benilde. "My landing spot was right on his (Sangco) foot. It doesn't hurt much anymore, just mild, but questionable [for next game]," Yambing confirmed after the game. With the Blazers leading, 66-47, in the third quarter, Yambing attempted a shot from the corner when he landed on Benilde's Mark Sangco's foot and twisted his ankle.
