These days, you need a whopping $50 million to $80 million to be able to mount a decent campaign to get a nomination under the best foreign language category of the Academy Award, according to filmmaker-producer Erik Matti. Matti, director of the action-thriller "On the Job: The Missing 8" (OTJ8), and coproducer Dondon Monteverde of Reality Entertainment, are tasked to mount the gargantuan effort that will hopefully enable the Philippines to win its first Oscar award.
