Magnitude 6.7 earthquakes rocks Abra, felt as far as Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines --- A magnitude 6.7 earthquake rocked Abra on Tuesday evening, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). The epicenter was pinpointed at 7 km northwest of Tineg, Abra. It was tectonic in origin and was recorded at 10:59 pm with a depth of focus of 28 km. Intensity V was felt in Sinait, Ilocos Sur; while Intensity IV was felt in Baguio City.
