PH to ease requirements for inbound travelers

MANILA, Philippines --- The Philippines will ease its requirements for incoming travelers in a bid to attract more tourists and businesses. This decision was made on Tuesday morning during the Cabinet meeting presided over by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco said. Among the new measures is that inbound travelers would no longer be required to have pre-departure RT PCR testing. Unvaccinated foreigners, Frasco said, would instead be required to present a negative antigen test result either 24 hours before their departure from their country of origin or upon their arrival in the Philippines.
