Beware of scammers posing as ride-hailing app drivers – LTFRB

MANILA, Philippines --- Beware of private vehicle drivers pretending to be working for transportation network vehicle service (TNVS) companies, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) warned the public in a statement issued on Wednesday. "The LTFRB received reports coming from social media networks about a vehicle allegedly offering TNVS services among commuters but in a forcible manner and charged a much higher fare," the LTFRB said.
