NCRPO to deploy 4,690 cops to ensure safe Holy Week, summer breaks

MANILA, Philippines --- The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said Friday that it is ready to deploy 4,690 officers to ensure public safety during Holy Week and summer holidays. According to the NCRPO, the 4,690 police officers will be sent to the streets and other key areas in Metro Manila as it expects an influx of vacationers amid the Lenten season and upcoming summer break.
