MANILA, Philippines --- The Philippine government received a new Air Force facility donated by the Australian government, the Department of National Defense (DND) said on Tuesday. The Close Air Support Part Task Trainer, Classroom and Debriefing Facility will be dedicated to the capacity-building efforts of the pilots and personnel of the 710th Special Operations Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). The main mission of the unit is to perform close air support to ground troops during combat operations.
