MANILA, Philippines --- A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck the province of Quezon on Tuesday night, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). The epicenter of the quake was located 14 kilometers northeast of Infanta, Quezon, and was recorded at 11:22 p.m. The earthquake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of focus of 5 kilometers. Intensity II was felt in Makati City, Quezon City, Manila, and San Juan City. Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity V was felt in Polillo, Quezon Province.
