COTABATO CITY -- Police authorities arrested on Friday afternoon a village councilman and his companion, both from Maguindanao del Norte, and seized from them more than P1 million worth of prohibited drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kalawag. Jimili Macaraeg, police director for the Soccsksargen region, said the operating troops seized P1,020,000 worth of suspected meth from Zacaria Buisan, 38, village councilor of Barangay Poblacion, Talitay town; and Guiamaludin Sailudin, 45, of Barangay Poblacion, Datu Odin Sinsuat, also in Maguindanao del Norte.
