MANILA, Philippines --- A pay hike is expected in 2024 for household helpers and minimum wage earners in Northern Mindanao (Region 10), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said Friday. The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) issued two orders on Tuesday, December 19, granting a total of P33 wage increase for non-agricultural and agricultural workers and as much as P1,500 wage increase for household helpers in Region 10 next year. According to the DOLE, the P33 increment will be given in two tranches -- P23 on January 11 and P10 on July 1, 2024.
