4 missing in Abra after earthquake

BAGUIO CITY---Four people were reported missing in Abra province after the 7-magnitude earthquake that struck the province on Wednesday, July 27. Arnel Garcia, a local disaster risk reduction and management officer, identified the missing as Marcos Barreyro, (age unknown); Louis Balais Dining, 21; and two minors, ages 15 and 17. Garcia said the four were on their way to work in Luba town from their hometown of Manabo. They were riding a "kalalaw," an improvised tricycle with a sidecar made to transport farm animals, when they were met by the tremor, Garcia added.
