Camarines Sur classes suspended Tuesday due to Florita

LEGAZPI CITY, Albay, Philippines --- Classes at all levels in public and private schools in Camarines Sur province are suspended on Tuesday, Aug. 23, due to Tropical Storm Florita, which is expected to dump heavy rains. In a memorandum released on Monday night, Camarines Sur Gov. Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte also placed the province under red alert status and directed all local disaster councils to activate their 24/7 Emergency Operation Centers to ensure that appropriate response measures could be undertaken.
