LTO summons driver involved in hit-and-run case of elderly in Manila

MANILA, Philippines --- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Monday issued a show cause order against the vehicle's owner that hit a female senior citizen in Dapitan, Manila. The LTO, in a statement, said that the order directed both the owner and the driver during the incident to appear to its Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) office on Thursday, December 15, also directing the owner to surrender the vehicle to the LTO North Motor Vehicle Inspection Center (NMVIC) for inspection.
