MANILA, Philippines --- Some P8.8 million worth of crystal methamphetamine or "shabu" were seized from three drug suspects in separate operations on Monday. Police arrested a drug suspect in Barangay Katipunan, Quezon City, who yielded P7.1 million worth of shabu. The suspect, Ian Torres, 37, a resident of Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, was arrested along FPJ Avenue during a buy-bust operation. In Makati City, authorities arrested suspects Angeline Claire Nacua and Choi Sol, a Korean national, and seized some P1.7 million worth of shabu in a controlled delivery operation also on Monday.
